Zoe Twin+ V2 Review: Still the Best Double Stroller for Travel

The Zoe Twin+ V2 might just be the best double stroller for travel, and after using it daily, I can say it’s earned that title.
I’ve been a Zoe fan for years. My original Twin+ V1 came with us everywhere: Disney World, European cobblestone streets, cruises, airports, and everyday walks. It became my go-to double stroller for traveling with two young kids, especially when I was the only adult managing the kids, bags, and stroller on my own.
Recently, Zoe gifted me the upgraded Zoe Twin+ V2, and after testing it at home and through a full weekend at Walt Disney World, I can confidently say the V2 builds on everything I already loved.
From the one-handed fold to the premium wheels and car seat compatibility, this version makes a great stroller even better. And while it’s not perfect, it’s still the one I reach for whether I’m heading to Disney, walking around our neighborhood, or managing a travel day with two kids in tow.
If you’re comparing models, I’ve also reviewed the Zoe Twin+ V1 and written a detailed V1 vs V2 comparison based on real travel experience with both.
This post isn’t sponsored, but I was gifted the stroller from Zoe. I’ve purchased from Zoe for years—my V1 was bought long before I became a Zoe Ambassador. Everything here is my honest experience as a parent who travels often with two kids. If you choose to buy using my link, you’ll get $15 off most Zoe stroller purchases. Thank you for supporting these real-parent reviews.

What’s New on the Zoe Twin+ V2?

The Zoe Twin+ V2 keeps all the features I loved in the original V1 but adds a few thoughtful upgrades to make daily life and travel even easier.
According to Zoe’s website, both models are:
- Disney-approved
- Compact-folding, which helps with tight trunks and travel storage
- Expandable—can grow from a double to a triple or quad with add-on seats
- Standard-doorway friendly
- Nap-mode ready with a four-panel expandable canopy and full recline
The biggest V2 changes include:
- Car seat compatibility (with adapter sold separately)
- Adjustable handlebar, which is especially helpful for taller or shorter parents
- Larger storage basket
- Upgraded premium wheels included as standard
- Higher weight limit (60 lbs per seat)
- Slightly larger dimensions and weight (see full specs below)
Why the Zoe Twin+ V2 Still Earns the Title of Best Double Stroller for Travel

When I travel with the kids, I travel light: one spinner suitcase, one backpack, two kids, and the Zoe Twin+.
That setup only works because of this stroller’s design. The full-length push bar adjusts to the exact height I need, so I can hold both the stroller and my suitcase handle in one smooth motion. Add my backpack and both kids riding comfortably, and I’m still totally mobile.
You can see exactly how this setup works in my original V1 video. The V2 handles it just as well.
And when it’s time to fold up, whether I’m boarding a plane, walking the jet bridge, or holding a toddler on my hip, the Zoe Twin+ V2 makes the process easy. It folds quickly and easily with one hand, which matters a lot when you’re managing kids and bags at the same time.
It’s one of my biggest non-negotiables for travel strollers, and the V2 nails it. The fold is just as effortless as the V1’s, with smoother mechanics and a sturdier feel overall.
Here’s what that looks like in real life: a quick, one-handed fold on the jet bridge while a whole boarding line waits behind me.
Travel-Tested: Where the Zoe Twin+ V2 Has Been
Since unboxing it, this stroller has joined us for:
- Daily neighborhood walks and playground runs
- A family camping trip
- A full weekend at Walt Disney World
- A day at our local children’s museum, The Strong National Museum of Play
- Several local trips including Alexandria Bay and Olcott Beach Carousel Park
Just like its predecessor, it handles a lot with ease: uneven sidewalks, park grass, airport terminals, and theme park crowds.
As a 6-foot-tall parent, I love the adjustable handlebar. It makes pushing noticeably more comfortable on long days.
The stock wheels are also a big upgrade. With the V1, I had to purchase the All-Terrain Wheels almost immediately because the standard ones struggled on rough sidewalks. The V2’s new “premium” wheels glide beautifully and handle bumps without a problem. So far, I haven’t seen any reason to replace them.

The Small Stuff I’d Change
If you read my original Zoe Twin+ V1 review, you know there was almost nothing I’d change. The only thing missing back then was a car seat adapter, and the V2 fixes that.
That said, there are two small things worth noting about the V2:
- Weight for Airline Policies: The V1 weighed 21 lbs and just met our airline’s former gate-check limit. The V2 is 23 lbs, so technically heavier. My husband’s airline has since dropped that restriction, so it hasn’t been a problem for us. But if your airline still has a stroller weight limit, it’s worth checking before you fly.
- Slightly Wider Frame: The V1 was 29″ wide, while the V2 is 30″. It doesn’t sound like much, but it could make a difference in tight spaces like cruise ship hallways. On our Disney Dream cruise, the V1 barely squeezed past housekeeping carts, and I sometimes had to lift the back wheels over them. I haven’t tested the V2 at sea yet, but I suspect that extra inch could require folding in those hallways.
Neither of these changes is a dealbreaker for us, especially since my husband’s airline no longer has a stroller weight restriction. But if you’re comparing models and weight or size are key factors for your travel style, they’re worth keeping in mind.
Is the Zoe Twin+ V2 Worth It?
Overall, the Zoe Twin+ V2 feels like a natural evolution of an already amazing stroller. It rides just as smoothly as the V1, maybe even smoother, and the upgrades like the adjustable handlebar, larger basket, and premium wheels make it an even better fit for everyday life and travel.
For families who travel often, this is still one of the best double strollers for travel you can buy. It handles everything from airports to theme parks with ease, folds down quickly for security lines and jet bridges, and feels sturdy enough to last for years.
I especially appreciate it when I’m the only adult managing two kids, bags, and a stroller, but that ease matters for any family trying to make travel days less chaotic.
Whether you’re upgrading from the V1 or shopping for your first Zoe, the Twin+ V2 shows why the brand continues to be such a strong option in the lightweight double stroller category. It’s the same compact convenience I already loved, just a little more refined.
