Over the years, while traveling with my kids, I’ve found certain gear, planning tools, booking resources, and services that genuinely make travel days smoother and less stressful.
This page is a collection of the travel resources I personally use, trust, and recommend to other parents. Whether you’re planning flights, figuring out airport logistics, heading to Disney, choosing travel gear, or trying to make your next family trip feel more manageable, these are the resources that have helped make travel feel more doable for our family.

This simple stroller handle attachment has become one of our most-used travel add-ons. It gives my kids some independence while helping keep them safely close in airports, busy parks, and crowded travel days.
Samsonite Spinner Suitcase
One thing I quickly learned while traveling with kids is that luggage matters. I use this style of suitcase because I can easily roll it alongside my stroller, which makes navigating airports much more manageable.

Flights & Travel Planning
Google Flights
Google Flights is almost always where I start when planning trips. We don’t always fly the same airline, so I use it to compare schedules, prices, and options that fit our family best. I also love the Explore feature when we know we want to travel but haven’t decided exactly where yet.
FlightConnections
When you’re traveling with kids, fewer connections usually means an easier travel day. FlightConnections helps me compare routes and find options with as few stops as possible.
Google Maps
Google Maps seems simple, but it helps me immensely when planning trips, especially in big cities. When we travel with a stroller, I use it to find accessible public transportation options and walking routes, especially in places like Lisbon and Porto where hills and stairs can completely change your plans.
Viator
Every time we travel somewhere new, I check Viator first for tours and things to do. I’ve booked everything from private airport transfers to full-day kid-friendly tours, and it’s one of my favorite ways to find experiences before a trip.
Hotels & Places To Stay
Marriott
We almost always look at Marriott properties first when planning trips. As a Bonvoy Platinum member with multiple Marriott credit cards, we’ve stayed in and loved Marriott properties all over the world, from Disney World to Portugal to Mexico City. The consistency, points program, and huge range of hotels make Marriott the hotel brand we come back to over and over.
Booking.com
For families who like comparing multiple options in one place, Booking.com can be especially helpful for international trips. It makes it easy to browse hotels, vacation rentals, and reviews across destinations around the world while comparing locations, amenities, and pricing side by side.
